Charli Roblez, 7 years old
We are so grateful to Charli, who recently turned her 7th birthday into a way to help others. Charli’s mom is a member of the Catholic Daughters of America, one of the oldest and largest organizations of Catholic women in the Americas. They donate to charities, administer scholarship programs and strive “to be helping hands where there is pain, poverty, sorrow or sickness.” After Charli attended a meeting with her mom during which they discussed charities, she decided to ask for monetary donations for Porta Caeli House for her birthday. Charli and her friends collected $150! “HAPPY birthday” and “thank you” to such a generous-hearted young lady.
